On Thursday 2 May Blyth Town Council's Mayor Warren Taylor was proud to present the nameplate of HMS Blyth to 203 Elswick Battery.

 

This was given to the TA Centre from the Royal Navy as part of the decommissioning of HMS Blyth in 2021 to become the custodians until another HMS Blyth should be built.

The Town Council will be the custodians for the battle board and ships bell and the nameplate will be proudly displayed at the TA Centre.
